Becky enjoys sharing and teaching the skills of custom rod building.  Becky has taught classes over the last 15 years not only in Iowa but also in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, Florida, and Texas.  Sharing is how all builders help each other get better.  The art of rod building is like painting a picture.  There are basics but each artist has their "tricks of the trade".  Becky enjoys teaching the tricks she has discovered as she continue to broaden her methods and use of new materials.

Becky's work has been showcased in several the Rod Builders Journals over the years as well as on the Rod Builders annual calendar.  The quarterly Rod Builders Journal is distributed throughout the world and showcases work and methods a wide array of custom rod builders.

Becky enjoys writing articles describing techniques that others may be interested in learning to perform.  Sharing skills is the key to the growth of the rod building hobby.

Becky has won a number of awards for her workmanship and skills in producing unique, one of a kind fishing rods.
